Green synthesis of copper oxide (CuO) nanoparticles using Anredera cordifolia leaf extract and their antioxidant activity

Our present study describes the green synthesis of copper oxide nanoparticles (CuONPs) using a leaf extract from Anredera cordifolia (AC). The presence flavonoids, saponins, and alkaloids in plant was confirmed by phytochemical analysis, these chemicals can be used as reducing, stabilizing, capping agents. UV-Vis Spectrophotometry, XRD, FT-IR, SEM-EDS were to characterize CuONPs. spectroscopy biosynthesized CuONPs revealed an absorption peak at 325 nm. XRD graph also that Debye-Scherrer formula observed average crystalline size around 43.47 EDS analysis composition purity functional groups -OH, C=O, C-O triggers CuONPs, according FT-IR analysis. Furthermore, antioxidant property inhibited free radicals antioxidants with IC50 value 34.20 g/mL.
